Supplies Needed: (all fabrics are quilting weight 100% cotton)
- Embroidery Fabric and Stars in sashing: 3/4 yard cream
- Framing for Blocks: 5/8 grey
- Sashing and Inner Border: 3/4 yard green
- Outer Border: 1/2 yard red (assuming 42.5” of usable fabric across the width. If not, you will need 1/8 yard ADDITIONAL outer border fabric)
- Backing: 2 1/2 yards
- Binding: 1/2 yard red (Sample uses the same fabric for the binding and outer border)
- Batting: 45” x 45”
- Light-weight Fusible Interfacing: 2/3 yard
- Thread to match fabrics
- Wing Clipper Ruler from Studio 180 or tool of your choice to make flying geese units
- DMC 3022 (2 skeins)
- Prismacolor Premier Pencils: 901, 938, 941, 1024, 1029, 1068, 1069, 1070, 1072, 1074, 1076, 1080, 1089, 1090, 1097
- .05 micron Pigma pen, brown
- Light box, #7 embroidery needle, Artist’s Kneadable Eraser and Artist’s Stumps (both in the art section of your local craft store), Jaqcuard Colorless Extender, 1/2” paint brush, freezer paper
