Sometimes you just need to make a fun, happy piece to make you smile. This mini quilt makes me think of summer and picnics. Of course, you can totally change up the fabrics and make it for fall or winter or any holiday you can think of!
Finished Size: 20.5” x 20.5” Finished Block Size: 8” x 8”
Supplies Needed:
- 4” x 8” each of sixteen 100% cotton fabrics for “petals”
- 4 – 3” squares 100% cotton fabric for center of flowers
- 1/4 yard white 100% cotton fabric for block backgrounds
- 1/4 yard black Dot for sashing
- 1/4 yard white Dot for sashing
- 2/3 yard backing
- 1/4 yard binding
- 24” square batting
- 2” Rounded Dresden English Paper Pieces from Sue Daly Designs
- Fabric glue stick
- Liquid fabric glue (such as Roxanne’s Glue Baste It)
- Sharp, pointed fabric scissors (such as Karen Kay Buckley’s Perfect Scissors)
