Scrap fabrics come together beautifully in this fun mini quilt. Choose pink and black as shown in the sample or change up the colors to match your decor. Detailed instructions are included for working with small pieces to enable you to recreate this beautiful quilt! Finished Size: 8” x 8”
Supplies Needed:
- FQ Black Fabric (9-patches and border)
- Scraps of Pink Fabrics (see cutting instructions)
- 1” x 4” scrap of pink wool
- DMC floss to match your wool
- Sharp Needle size 60 or 65
- Good quality thread such as Aurifil 50wt cotton
- Batting: 8” x 8” (low loft cotton)
- Rulers such as Itty-Bitty Eights from Creative Grids
- Spray starch
- Small piece of freezer paper
- Light box
- White fabric pencil (Sewline is preferred)
- Small amount of fabric glue or tiny appliqué pins
- 8”x8” frame with foam board inser
