Chickadees are some of the happiest and friendliest birds in my garden. They have so much energy and they are very curious. It doesn’t take long to coax one to eat of my hand if I stand still and I still get a rush of pleasure as I feel their tiny feet on my fingers as they investigate the offerings in my hand and decide which seeds to pick. The chickadees in the first installment of the My Garden series are easy to color and bring to mind their sweet voices. Perfect handwork anytime of year, this cotton and wool table mat is a joy to work on and an even bigger joy to display. Pattern comes with full-size templates and hand-dyed buttons.
