This cotton and wool table mat is easy to put together with a few essential tools and the detailed instructions in my pattern. It looks great in any fabrics from seasonal/holiday to florals and batiks. You can make one up quickly for a gift as well. I’m sure once you give one a try you will come up with lots of color combos for yourself and for gift-giving!

Finished Size: approximately 18” in diameter
Supplies Needed:
- 6 Fabrics – Fat Eighth each (9” x 21”)
- 20” square Wool – Background
- 20” square Cotton – Backing
- thread to match fabrics
- #8 pearl cotton – black (or color to match wool)
- Freezer paper
- 15 Degree ruler by Creative Grids
- 2.5” and 3.5” Rotary Cutting Circles from Creative Grids
- Machine needle size 65
- #7 chenille needle
- 18mm rotary cutter
- Perfect Circles by Karen Kay Buckley
- Spray starch
- Stencil brush
- Fabric Glue such as Roxanne’s Glue Baste-It
- Sharp Pointed Scissors (such as Perfect Scissors by Karen Kay Buckley)
