A serene evergreen tree decked out with glistening beads completes my twelve-month collection of miniature quilts in my Welcome Home series. The piecing and embellishing are simple but not plain. Sometimes less is more and I think this peaceful scene is a perfect way to end the year!

- Dark Green Fabric: Fat Quarter (“Home”, binding and backing)
- Dark Brown fabric: 2” x 2”
- Batting: 12” x 16”
- Fusible web: 5” x 5”
- DMC 415, 890
- #7 embroidery needle
- .5 micron Pigma pen – brown
- Light box
- Approximately 200 11/0 delica beads – Crystal
- Beading needle
- Thread to match fabrics
- Chalk marker (The one by Clover is my favorite)
- Basting spray (Such as 505 Basting spray)
- 10” Welcome Hardware from Ackfeld Wire
