I combined a beautiful, gold batik with some English paper piecing (epp) and hand embroidery to create a sweet sunflower for the end of summer. If you haven’t tried this technique yet this small piece would be a great introduction.

- Light weight fusible interfacing: 4.5” x 4.5”
- DMC floss: 154, 898, 3852
- 2” Dresden Plate papers from Sue Daly Designs
- #7 embroidery needle
- .5 micron Pigma pen – brown
