I am really pleased with how these blocks turned out. I think it’s the red hearts with the flowers fussy cut and how those colors match the PEACE block so nicely.
In case you missed it, the materials list, along with the details for the stitch-a-long, are in this blog post here.

Have you ever considered that His peace truly is a blessing? This world can never offer lasting peace in either a broad sense or a personal one. True peace comes from knowing Jesus and putting your hope and trust in Him and Him alone. True peace comes from keeping your eyes fixed on Him when everything around is falling apart. True peace comes from spending time in His word where He can, and will, speak directly to your heart no matter what you are going through.
You can’t buy peace. You can’t manufacturer it on your own. You can’t take peace from someone else. It truly is a gift from the God of the universe who delights to spend time with those who seek Him with their whole heart. I encourage you to memorize the scripture you stitch each week. When I wake up with something heavy on my heart I start reciting all the verses I have memorized and before I know it I feel the burden lifted, knowing He has everything under control. It doesn’t mean everything is going to turn out the way I think it should. It means I know He knows my heart and the circumstances better than I do and I can trust Him to take care of all that concerns me. Frequently that is my children, but sometimes it is something financial, or an illness, or a world event. He is still on His throne and nothing happens that He doesn’t already know about. I find great comfort in that and that brings peace to my heart. I hope you allow Him to minister to your heart through His word as you pick up your needle and thread this week.
Remember, the patterns for these two blocks are free in my shop for one week. After that they will be $5 for both.
Blessings,
Michelle
