
What if I fall? Those words accurately describe my feelings.
Oh, but Darling, what if you fly? What if I fly? Could it be possible?
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

What if I fall? Those are the words silently threading through my thoughts whenever I go back to my dream of creating and designing my own pieces.
Oh, but Darling, what if you fly? What if I fly? Can my dreams really take flight?
As an eagle stirs up its nest, hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, taking them up, carrying them on its wings, so the Lord alone led {me}.
Deuteronomy 31:11-12
What if I fall? Do I have the strength? Do I have the ability?
Oh, but Darling, what if you fly? What if I fly? Could the years I have poured into what I love really build the strength necessary to sustain me?
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17
What if I fall? This voice is current me and those four words sum up all my fears of trying and failing.
Oh, but Darling, what if you fly? This voice is future me. The me with grey hair and bright blue eyes looking back at current me with a glint in her eye and a smile on her face encouraging me to take that step, to take that one small step from my place of safety and spread my wings, to soar as I have never done before.
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
So begins my journey. Won’t you join me?
