Beautiful things can come in small packages. Jewelry. Chocolate. Babies. And this mini quilt! Lots of love is packed into just eight square inches!

I created this piece with scraps from my sewing table. I was working on a larger quilt with these fabrics and thought if I cut them all in half I could come up with a delightful mini quilt I could tuck somewhere for a bit of color in February.
I love to combine different techniques so this time I added some wool embroidery to make it extra special. The “L” is made with a small scrap of pink wool with the remaining letters finished in a tiny chain stitch.
The pattern is available in my shop here and contains detailed instructions to assist you in working with little pieces from preparing your fabric to cutting, sewing and pressing. I will guide you every step of the way!
I plan to spend this very cold and snowy day in my sewing studio. I am working on another piece I will show you next week!
Blessings to you! Michelle
